Plague glides between playful melodies and brooding ostinato, from Saint-Saëns to random sweeps and synth reconstructions of nature sounds. The album was created entirely using modular synthesis techniques and taped speech in the VCV Rack software and works a repertoire of largely analog sounds into a variety of musical forms with an impressionistic ambient core.
